WITTMAN CONSTRUCTION COMPLETES RESIDENTIAL STORM REMEDIATION
Wittman completed improvements to a home severely damaged by Hurricane Sandy
BERKELEY, NJ December 3, 2012 – The Owner of the home, Mark Dragoo, contracted Wittman to complete repairs due to water damage from this terrible storm at his Jersey Shore residence. This extensive remediation work included removal of flood-damaged drywall and wall insulation in all first floor areas. It also included the removal of plywood in the garage, floor covering, crawl space insulation, damaged appliances and other miscellaneous damaged property. Wittman dried the remaining structure with fans and dehumidifiers and then treated all flood-affected areas with spray-on mildicide. The deck and outdoor pavers were pressure washed as well and the house is now completely prepared for reconstruction.

They worked closely with the Owners of Advanced Abrasives to redirect their incoming and outgoing shipments while their only point of freight egress was repaired. Wittman Construction joins other area businesses owners to raise over $6,200 at a local tournament
SEWELL, NJ May 12, 2012 – Nineteen local businesses and over 100 participants took part in a wiffle ball tournament at the home of John and Melanie Colfer in Sewell, NJ to raise money for The Wounded Warriors Project. MT. LAUREL, NJ November 10, 2011 – Jasleen Sobti, the Franchisee, engaged Wittman Construction and J. Conolly Carpentry to complete the construction fit-out work for her Kumon Learning Center located in Moorestown, NJ. In less than one month, Wittman and Conolly successfully completed this fit-out and Sobti’s learning center officially opened in September 2011.

CHERRY HILL, NJ August 9, 2010 – Kremer Eye Center engaged Wittman Construction to add (2) surgical rooms and complete various office upgrades to their location at 457 Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill, NJ. This office occupies +/- 5,000 SF in a building owned by Brandywine Realty Trust, one of the largest full-service real estate companies in the United States operating as a real estate investment trust.
For 30 years, Kremer Eye Center has been the leader in vision correction procedures including LASIK surgery, corneal transplants, and in the treatment of glaucoma, cataracts, and other ophthalmic disorders. The first LASIK surgery in North America was performed by the founder, Dr. Frederic Kremer.
In less than five days, Wittman Construction completed these upgrades ensuring that the surgeons and patients of Kremer were only minimally affected.

WITTMAN CONSTRUCTION COMPLETES COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS OF OVER $1 MILLION FOR 2 PENNSAUKEN, NJ COMPANIES ON THE MOVE
PENNSAUKEN, NJ March 20, 2009 – Charles J Becker & Sons was represented by Francis Mahoney of Cushman & Wakefield for the purchase of 1500 Melrose Highway in Pennsauken for $4.1 million. The +/-127,000SF building was originally constructed in 1977. Becker engaged Wittman Construction to provide single point of contact build-to-suit improvements that included 9,000SF of new office space, 27-tons of new heating and air conditioning equipment, fire protection revisions, ADA compliance upgrades, and major electrical work. From design to permitting through construction to occupancy, all factions of the project were completed under Wittman’s full umbrella of services within a four month time frame. Becker & Sons, an 80- year old school supply company, moved their business from Northeast Philadelphia.
Advanced Abrasives Corporation contracted Wittman Construction to build office improvements at their building located at 7980 National Highway in Pennsauken. The upgrades, designed by Ryan Day of Eric Hafer & Associates Architects, included manufacturing areas, mechanical upgrades, new glass and canopy façade, and 3,500 square feet of office space. Finishes included (2) executive offices, conference room, high-end reception lobby, kitchenette, general office, and office area toilet rooms. Advanced Abrasives is a rapidly growing manufacturing and processing base for wet and dry diamond powders, compounds and slurries that provide state-of-the-art superabrasive products. Wittman provided the quick occupancy required by Advanced Abrasives completing the construction for move-in within 90 days.
